I’m four shops-in-one - a CRICKET shop, a HOCKEY shop, a BOWLS shop & a shop that CLUBS in general use for their equipment needs or decorated (printed/embroidered) sportswear. It's where we devised the business name back in 1983.
CRICKET SHOP
I try to provide the best service in the country when it comes to selling cricket equipment.
I’ve been retailing cricket for 43 years and am a playing veteran of a thousand games.
I also have a Level One EWCB coaching qualification. I stock absolutely everything CRICKET from BATS to HELMETS to BALLS on a STRING to COLOURED STUMPS. My main suppliers are GRAY NICOLLS, KOOKABURRA & HUNTS COUNTY.
HOCKEY SHOP
Dundee has always been a centre of excellence for the sport of field hockey. Some of Dundee's biggest sports clubs are field hockey clubs and it was an easy choice to specialise in hockey when we first opened in 1983. My stock consists of all sizes of HOCKEY STICKS, HOCKEY SHOES, HOCKEY BAGS & HOCKEY PROTECTION. My main suppliers are GRAYS, KOOKABURRA & BYTE.
BOWLS SHOP
This is a recent & exciting addition. At one time in Clubsport's past we did sell bowls, sponsoring bowls events and conducting some pop-up shops. And now with my close proximity (100m) to the DUNDEE INDOOR BOWLS CLUB, my personal playing interest in the game and with there being no other local bowls retailer I thought it opportune to serve the sport once again. Thus far I have been very encouraged by the level of demand. My stock consists of SETS of BOWLS, BOWLS FOOTWEAR, BOWLS CLOTHING, BOWLS BAGS & CARRIERS & ALL BOWLS ACCESSORIES. My main suppliers are THOMAS TAYLOR, HENSELITE & DRAKES PRIDE. 2026 is my 7th season selling bowls and it just gets bigger, better & busier.
CLUB SHOP
The 'CLUB SHOP' is a loose term which can see Clubsport selling pretty much anything and everything. From a set of football strips for a Sunday League team, printed T-shirts for a corporate promotion, a pair of netball posts for a school to basketballs for Dundee Madsons. With 43 years of retailing behind me, my experience in selling club/corporate business has covered every sport from A - Z. Ok, A - W and my filing cabinet is bulging. But it is the decoration of sportswear that now represents a lot of my 'CLUB' business.
